About Us
Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue's Finance Department
provides financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting
services; treasury and investment management, risk
management, and strategic forecasting services. This
department also manages the areas of debt issuance, legal
and purchasing.
In addition, the department provides full financial
accounting services, including tax return preparation, for the Tualatin
Valley Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association. The
Finance Department administers the Pension and Volunteer
LOSAP Trust Plans, Dependent Care Reimbursement Plan, Deferred Compensation Plans (457 and 401a), Retiree
Medical Insurance Stipend Fund, the Tualatin Valley Fire
and Rescue Community Assistance fund, a non-profit entity
and the Manley HRA account.
Special Recognition
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue has received
prestigious awards for several consecutive years
from The Government Finance Officers Association of
the United States and Canada for both its Annual
Budget Document and Comprehensive Annual Financial
Report (CAFR). TVF&R was the first fire district in
the nation to receive these distinguished awards and
recognition.
