Location/Service Area

The possible annexation of Station 62 (and the Administration Center and Fleet Maintenance Shop) to the City of Hillsboro has prompted the District to evaluate long-range deployment needs in the Aloha and West Beaverton communities. Also key to this analysis is the increasing density of this area. Given these factors, the decision was made to purchase surplus land from Washington County for a future station adjacent to the intersection of 170th and Blanton.

One acre of property has been purchased adjacent to the intersection of 170th and Blanton for the eventual relocation of Station 62.
